About UsIntroducing (Ming Yue) MY Zhineng Qigong (International)It all started in the 1995, when laoshi Patricia Wong took a keen interest in Zhineng Qigong under the influence and guidance of Grandmaster Prof Dr Phang Ming, the founder of Zhineng Qigong. She took active part in helping to organise Prof Phang's itinerary during his visit to Malaysia in July, 1995. He encouraged her and made her see the benefits of Zhineng Qigong as a means to healthy living. He also taught her to understand the happiness in spreading the message in the saying 'zao fu ren lei' (in the service of mankind).
Since then she devoted herself to mastering the art of Zhineng Qigong practice and in 1997 she started teaching to a small group of practitioners. Since then, she has conducted Zhineng Qigong classes for a Qigong association with more than six centres. Eventually she organized a Zhineng Qigong centre of her own at Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Kuala Lumpur in 2002. She worked very hard to strengthen this centre. At present, the TTDI centre has a group of 13 laoshis (instructors), seniors and juniors. They are a group of dedicated volunteer, who help to conduct practice and healing sessions among the 100+ practitioners who attend practice twice a week. The TTDI group's activities apart from the annual moon-cake festival party and annual dinner also include annual Zhineng Qigong camps. In 2006 we had our camp at Genting Permai Resort. Our camp at Bayu Beach Resort in Port Dickson in 2007, attracted 118 participants from Malaysia and Singapore. This camp was personally conducted by Master Feng Guang De and his assistant from China. We also had annual camps in China, 2005 -Beijing, Wen Tang, 2006 - Guilin and 2007 -Huangsan. During our camps in China, we were trained by many Qigong laoshis including Master Feng Guang De. They have all helped to enhance the theory and practice skills of the group.
In 2007, during the training camp in Huangsan, China, Master Feng Guang De expressed the view that with our active Zhineng Qigong group, it would be ideal to have a healing centre in Malaysia. Using the Zhineng Qigong healing methods, many laoshis can get involved in the project to help people with health problems. Malaysia is ideal for such a centre because Mandarin and other Chinese dialects, English and Malay are spoken here. During the 2007 camp at Bayu Beach Resort, this idea was further discussed. Mr Tan Ming Huat volunteered to work towards facilitating the acquisition of a site for the project. Thus, Ming Yue Zhineng Qigong International was registered to implement the project. |
