The centre had brought about significant effect in the development of qigong with far-reaching influence. In November 1986, Master Feng Guang De again set up Shijiazhuang City Qigong School. At the same time, he had in 1986 and 1987 taken charge of the setting up of Shijiazhuang Qigong Society and Shijiazhuang Qigong Science Research Society respectively. The setting up of the above-mentioned qigong organizations laid the foundation for the development of qigong in an orderly and healthy manner and scientifically. After Zhineng Qigong was founded by Master Pang He Ming Laoshi, Master Feng Guang De invited Pang Laoshi to Shijiazhuang to personally teach the theories and practice of Zhineng Qigong thereby to develop and popularize Zhineng Qigong to the masses. In this fertile land (Shijiazhuang), the seed for the development of Zhineng Qigong was sown and nurtured. After this, through the continuous processes of researches and putting into practice, Master Feng concretely organized and implemented the development plan for the popularization of Zhineng Qigong. In November 1988, Master Feng assisted Pang Laoshi in the setting up of Shijiazhuang Zhineng Qigong College (in 1992, the college name was changed to Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Training Centre). The setting up of this college marked a new milestone in the history of the development of Zhineng Qigong. Master Qi Xiaolong:
Master Qi has over twenty years of experience in the practice of Zhineng qigong. He underwent training under Master Pang Ming in 1993 for two years. After graduation, he worked in the original Zhineng qigong training centre. He was an excellent teacher and advanced workers. He had trained thousands of people from different parts of China who later became Zhineng qigong teachers and formed the backbone in the promotion of Zhineng qigong, and accomplished many good social benefits. He has a wealth of knowledge in the theory and practice of qigong and vast teaching experience. His lectures are characterized by his simplifying complicated theories. Instructor Patricia Wong Patricia Wong, age 59, a business woman has been practising Zhineng Qigong (ZQ) since 1995. She started under the influence of Prof. Dr Pang Ming in 1995. Since then, she has developed her keen interest and knowledge in ZQ from other laoshis in Malaysia. She has made many trips to China to seek knowledge and guidance under many ZQ grand masters including Prof. Dr Pang Ming, Master Feng Guang De and many others. In early 2002 she started her own ZQ centre in TTDI. Under her leadership the TTDI centre has grown in its membership and popularity. She helped to train more than a dozen laoshis to run the centre with about 150 regular practitioners. Now under the MYZQI flagship, she has opened a new centre in Puchong and is in the process of opening new centres in a few other places. She was the main person who liaised with the masters in China to facilitate four successful ZQ camps in China and many camps in Malaysia involving the masters from China. Her success in getting these camps organised and run smoothly is a testimony of her ability to get her loashis and practitioners to cooperate and sincerely work towards the betterment of people in general. This has led to the set-up of Ming Yue (International) Zhineng Qigong (MYZQI). Under her leadership, the MYZQI centre will become an organisation to help the spread of ZQ practice as a recognised method for healing and healthy living. As the Chairperson of MYZQI, she wants MYZQI to be a non-profit organisation to train laoshis from all countries so that more ZQ centres can be established to help people get the full benefit from ZQ for healthy living. Her advice to practitioners is ‘to be positive, practise regularly and don’t give up because ZQ can make you a better person.’ This is very true if one were to see her inter-action with others and when she is performing healing session during our qigong practice.
