Gina Lim, age 55, started qigong practice at TTDI Centre in the year 2007. Gina's inspiration comes from the many Laoshis who worked tirelessly to train and spread the good work of MYZQ. Although not understanding the instructions in Mandarin, she grasped the art of qigong by careful observation and constant practice at home. She has now taken Mandarin speaking classes in order to 'keep up' with the other Laoshis. Gina truly appreciated the art of qigong as it has helped her personally in so many areas, the total abstention of pills and other medications which she relied heavily on before, the stillness of mind during practice which brings much clarity and joy to her, and now the joy of seeing other practitioners benefiting from such application. Her aspiration is to see the widespread practice of zhineng qigong amongst mankind.

Chia Ah Loy, age, 64, happily married with 2 boys and a girl all graduates from overseas, born in Raub, son to the then Kachang King, who created the name "Sempalit Kachang". I grew up helping my father man the coffee shop in the village, Sempalit. After Form Five in Raub, I migrated to Kuala Lumpur to study A -level, then called HSC. The success in gaining the full certificate was not easy as I worked as a government clerk at the Statistic Dept, Jalan Young to pay my fees, rent and of course my food. I am a quiet fellow who used to keep mum in school and later in University, always taking a back seat. I only have one small skill, the ability to play guitar and able to sing most evergreen songs. This is my only attraction to the ladies I guess. Having graduated in Economics with Honours, I entered the commercial world and started with OCBC Bank, then joined Public Bank and ended up at The Pacific Bank which merged with Maybank in 2001,the year I left the Bank after 28 years of the banking career. The year 2003 was significant as I joined Zhineng Qigong in TTDI. I was introduced by a friend who a contemporary of Laoshi Lee, TTDI Center Head. It was no turning back then. I do not know whether I have a lot of Qi or not but I always help myself and others by giving them Qi, which I think sometimes works wonders. Now I am in my golden years I will be doing more charitable things and social works to repay society. This has always being my goal in life to spread goodwill and care to the less fortunate and needy E-mail: alloy92@hotmail.com
